Shearer, Cook-Krivohlavek Each Pick Up Pins in Regular Season Finale
CRETE, Neb. – The Mustangs had a tall task ahead of them in this year’s Great Plains Athletic Conference Women’s Wrestling Duals Day, as Morningside’s injury-plagued lineup faced the top three teams in the league. Callee Shearer and Kelise Cook-Krivohlavek represented the only Mustangs to get wins on the day as Morningside went 0-3 against Hastings, Doane, and Midland.

Callee Shearer and Kelise Cook-Krivohlavek represented the only Mustangs to get wins on the day as Morningside went 0-3 against Hastings, Doane, and Midland.
Both Morningside grapplers fought for pins in the match against Midland, as Shearer won her match via fall in 1:23 at the 124 pound weight class.
Cook-Krivohlavek followed at the 131 pound class, putting her opponent on her back in 1:02.
Morningside next competes in the GPAC Championships on February 28 at Hastings College, with hopes of individual trips to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Women's Wrestling Championships on the line.
