Morningside qualifies three for 2021 NAIA meet
A senior trio consisting of Emalee Fundermann (Anthon, Iowa), Jo McKibben (Mapleton, Iowa), and Kristine Honomichl (Westminster, Colo.) will represent Morningside University at the 2021 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics women’s cross country championships.

The meet is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 19, in Vancouver, Wash. Head coach Dave Nash's group takes to the Fort Vancouver National Historic Championship course at 11:30 a.m. Pacific Standard Time.
Each of the Mustangs has previous national meet experience. Funderman and McKibben make their third appearance, while Honomichl competes at nationals for the second time. The Great Plains Athletic Conference has a strong roster for the meet with Dordt University and Hastings College advancing their teams. Morningside, Concordia University, Doane University, and Northwestern College have individuals selected for competition.
