KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced the qualifying fields for its Men's and Women's Cross Country National Championships today. Among the list of qualifiers was Morningside's Courtney Sporrer.
Sporrer, a freshman from Logan, Iowa, has been Morningside's top finisher throughout the season, placing no. 11 at last weekend's Great Plains Athletic Conference Championship. Her finish in 19:20.72 was good enough to earn her all-conference honors and qualify her individually for the national meet.
Sporrer will run at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Fla. on Friday, Nov. 18, at 9:30 a.m ET. Fans interested in watching online or watching the live results may do so at naia.org/sports/wxc/2022-23/Releases/Schedule.
