Mustangs place eight women on cross country scholar athlete list
KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced the first of its Daktronics Scholar Athletes for the fall sports seasons last week, with the honorees for women’s cross country being announced ahead of the national championship.

Morningside placed eight women's cross country members on the scholar athlete list, seniors Emily Chicoine, Rachel Kenny, and Sarah Bosch; juniors Monica Olson and Taylor Sporrer; and sophomores Grace Lange, Paige Padavich, and Sarah Perez.
In order to qualify for the NAIA scholar athlete program, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5, appear on a sport's eligibility certificate, and have attended one full year at the current institution.
