Morningside women's cross country picked fifth by conference coaches

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Mustangs women's cross country program was picked fifth by the conference's coaches in the preseason poll.

Morningside received 80 points in the poll. Dordt, Concordia, Hastings, and Northwestern were the top four teams. Dordt earned 11 of the 12 first place votes. The Mustangs are picked in the same place they finished last season.

Morningside's first event of the 2023 season is the Augustana Twilight on Friday, Sept. 1.
