KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its Daktronics Scholar-Athletes for women’s cross country, releasing this year's list ahead alongside the other fall sports.
Sporrer, a junior from Logan, Iowa, placed 86th at the NAIA Women’s Cross Country Championships at Gans Creek Course. Her time on the six-kilometer course was 22 minutes, 36.60 seconds.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Courtney Sporrer headlined the Mustangs’ debut at the Augustana Twilight Meet, taking 24th in a field of National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and National Collegiate Athletic Association athletes. Morningside wound up placing 13th in the field of 30 teams.
On Tuesday, the Mustangs learned they are fifth in the conference preseason poll with 85 points. This season marks the second that the women will run 6,000 meters.
