Morningside posts PRs aplenty at Augustana Twilight Meet
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Senior Courtney Sporrer led the way for Morningside’s women in their season debut at the Augustana Twilight Cross Country Meet on this evening, clocking a personal-best 17:43.51 to finish no. 12 overall in the women’s 5,000-meter race.

Freshman Madison Sporrer followed in 18:50.79, while junior Gabby Ryan also turned in a personal best with a 19:21.68. Freshman Stefi Beisswenger crossed in 19:34.69, and senior London Rogge capped the Mustangs' scoring with a career-best 19:43.89.
Senior Nicole Zuehl crossed in 19:52.09 for a PR and freshman Breyer Anderson finished in 20:09.06 to add depth with strong showings. Freshmen Natalie Point, 20:27.66, and Ava Lang, 20:49.53; senior Ikilas Hasan, 21:08.33; freshman Carmen Buschkamp, 21:12.19; and junior Jillian Fierro, 22:43.87 rounded out Morningside's lineup in the premiere.
The Mustangs take to the cross country course again on Sept. 20, when they run in the Greeno/Dirksen invite in Lincoln, Neb.
