Mustangs place second in GPAC meet

Senior Courtney Sporrer led the Mustangs, earning All-GPAC honors at seventh overall in 22 minutes, 21 seconds over the 6,000-meter course. Junior Gabby Ryan followed in 17th with a time of 23:05, while freshman Stefi Besswenger was right behind in 18th at 23:08. Freshman Madison Sporrer crossed 20th in 23:13, and junior London Rogge rounded out the scoring lineup in 26th at 23:34.
Senior Nicole Zuehl placed 30th in 23:58, while freshmen Breyer Anderson (45th, 24:50), Carmen Buschkamp (48th, 24:57), Natalie Point (55th, 25:10) and Ava Lang (61st, 25:26) added depth.
The runner-up finish marked one of Morningside's strongest team performances of the fall, combining veteran leadership with an impactful freshman class.
