GREENWOOD, IND. – Two Morningside men’s swimmers landed on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the CSC announced earlier this week. John Spicer and Alejandro Plaza represented the Mustangs on the team.

Spicer swam in the 200-yard freestyle race on Saturday, and in the preliminary round, he clocked in at 1 minute, 41.78 seconds. That was good for 18th place.

John Spicer recorded the highest individual finish for Morningside, taking second place in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1 minute, 41.52 seconds. He also placed third in both the 100 free (46.07) and the 50 free (21.07).
