MITCHELL, S.D. — Morningside (RV) wrapped up the regular season with a 0-0 draw against Dakota Wesleyan in Great Plains Athletic Conference women's soccer play Wednesday.
The Mustangs (11-1-5, 8-1-3 GPAC) outshot the Tigers 11-6 and controlled much of the second half but couldn't find a breakthrough. Keyera Harmon led the attack with three shots on goal, while Moriah Dixson recorded four saves in goal.
The draw extended Morningside's unbeaten streak to seven matches as the Mustangs enter the GPAC Tournament as the No. 1 seed. The Mustangs will open up GPAC Tournament play at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Elwood Olsen Stadium against Mount Marty.
