Five Mustangs add seven all-conference performances to trophy case
YANKTON, S.D. – Friday and Saturday’s Great Plains Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships saw seven women’s events awarded all-conference honors.

Taylor Sporrer led the Mustangs in the all-conference category, taking honors with a third place finish in the 5,000-meter run and a fourth place finish in the 3,000-meter run.
Courtney Sporrer was also a double all-conference honoree, placing second in the 1,000-meter run and fourth in the mile run, reaching the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics B standard in both races.
Emily Chicoine was right behind Courtney in the 1,000-meter run, placing third.
In the 800-meter run, Michelle Sanchez earned all-conference honors with a second place finish.
Jolee Mesz earned the first all-conference honors of her collegiate career, placing third in the 600-meter run.
