Women's track to send three events to nationals

KANSAS CITY, MO. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics revealed its list of qualifiers for the 2024 Women's Indoor Track and Field Championship, advancing three events to this year's championship event.

Taylor Sporrer enters the 1,000-meter run with the no. 18 time, qualifying with a 3:00.54. 

Courtney Sporrer, Emily Chicoine, Michelle Sanchez, and Jolee Mesz qualified for the 4x800-meter relay with a seventh-ranked time of 9:23.24. Taylor Sporrer serves as the alternate for the foursome.

Taylor Sporrer, Chicoine, Mesz, and Courtney Sporrer enter the distance medley with the no. 10 time of 12:15.65. Sanchez serves as the alternate.

Prelims for both relays take place on Feb. 29 with the 4x800 taking place at 3:30 p.m. Taylor Sporrer's 1,000-meter prelims are scheduled for 3:15 p.m. on March 1.
