SIOUX CITY, IOWA – The Yockey Family Community Room was again abuzz this weekend as esports teams representing members of the Great Plains Athletic Conference converged in the second week of the first-ever GPAC invitational event. Like last week’s event, this week included qualifying play on Friday with a seeded tournament on Saturday.
SIOUX CITY, IOWA – Morningside Esports played host to the first-ever Great Plains Athletic Conference Esports Championships in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Valorant this weekend, hosting a four team tournament for each game over the past two days. The Mustangs competed in Valorant, finishing as the runners-up to Briar Cliff following a best-of-five tournament championship.
