SIOUX CENTER, IOWA – Morningside Men’s Volleyball’s march into the Great Plains Athletic Conference took it to Dordt University tonight, hoping to upset the Defenders for a trip to the conference championship. Unfortunately the match didn’t go as hoped, with Dordt getting the win over the visiting Mustangs, 25-17, 25-17, and 25-19.
SIOUX CITY, IOWA – Men’s Volleyball plunged into the postseason as it competed in the first round of the Great Plains Athletic Conference postseason tournament earlier today. The Mustangs, the no. 3 seed in the tournament, swept Central Christian, 25-12, 25-15, and 25-8.
SIOUX CITY, IOWA – Morningside's regular season men’s volleyball finale arrived today, with senior day festivities honoring Dylan Hamil, Kahakai Kahoiwai, and Erik Krenz coming ahead of the match against Jamestown. The Mustangs fell in the match, 3-0, with scores of 25-13, 25-12, and 25-14.

Morningside, looking to rebound from yesterday’s hard-fought loss at Graceland, fell to Trinity Christian in four sets, 27-25, 25-18, 25-27, and 25-16.
LAMONI, IOWA – Men’s Volleyball headed south to Graceland University yesterday, playing the Yellowjackets in the recently renovated Morden Center. The Mustangs fell to the Yellowjackets by the narrowest of margins after forcing five sets, 23-25, 25-23, 26-24, 19-25, and 16-14.
SIOUX CITY, IOWA – Men’s volleyball wasted no time getting back on top, defeating Central Christian in straight sets, 25-13, 25-16, and 25-19, before topping Culver-Stockton 25-19, 25-20, and 25-17.

OTTAWA, KAN. – Morningside’s men’s volleyball team headed to Kansas with its sights set on a regular season sweep over Ottawa University. The Mustangs upset the Braves at the beginning of the season in Allee Gym, 3-1, but had yet to win a set in OU’s Wilson Field House.
JAMESTOWN, N.D. – Morningside played a rare Sunday men’s volleyball contest at Jamestown today, falling to the Jimmies on their home court, 3-0.

Morningside scored a decisive victory, sweeping the host team 3-0, with scores of 25-11, 25-8, and 25-11.
SIOUX CITY, IOWA – Morningside’s men’s volleyball team came to Allee Gym with a purpose in its home and Great Plains Athletic Conference opener tonight, as it defeated Ottawa 3-1, with sets of 25-21, 25-22, 18-25, and 25-17. The Braves were picked to finish third, ahead of the Mustangs, in the GPAC preseason poll, receiving one vote to finish at the top of the league.
LA CROSSE, WIS. – A quick two-and-a-half hour drive from last night’s matches, the Mustangs were in La Crosse, Wis. today for another men’s volleyball triangular, hosted by Viterbo University. Morningside started the day early, losing a 3-0 match to the host V-Hawks before dropping a 3-1 match to Lakeland University’s Muskies.
DUBUQUE, IOWA – Morningside opened the 2023 season today, competing in a triangular with Cardinal Stritch and Clarke. Morningside lost the opener, falling to Cardinal Stritch, 3-2, with scores of 20-25, 15-25, 28-26, 25-22, and 15-9, before defeating Clarke 3-1, with scores of 25-22, 14-25, 25-22, and 25-16.
